BLANQUEAMIENTO INTRACORONARIO DE DIENTES NO VITALES: UNA REVISIÓN

Resumen

La decoloración de los dientes surge por varias causas que se diferencian en la apariencia, la severidad y los tipos de tratamientos. Algunos autores han reportado que, en la mayoría de los casos los dientes no vitales blanquean más rápidamente que los dientes vitales, lo que depende del tiempo de permanencia de la decoloración, es decir, se van observar mejores resultados en decoloraciones recientes que antiguas, donde muy posiblemente no se observarán resultados totalmente satisfactorios, para llegar posteriormente a una recidiva. El propósito de esta revisión es exponer varios cuestionamientos al tener en cuenta las diferentes técnicas y materiales utilizados durante el blanqueamiento de dientes no vitales.
