ESPIRAL publishes research articles, interviews, reports, chronicles and literary texts in Spanish, Portuguese and English languages. ESPIRAL publishes contributions within the subject scope of the Social Sciences, as a major subject area, and Education Sciences, as a specific area. ESPIRAL is especially focused on articles dealing with teaching and research on educational and pedagogical issues, preferably pertaining to the following lines: Pedagogical subjects and processes, Environmental Education and Sustainable Development, Society, Education and Culture, Policies and Curriculum Management in Higher Education, ICTs and Distance Education.
