Modulación por división de frecuencia ortogonal para minimizar el ruido en aplicaciones Smart Grid sobre comunicaciones por línea de potencia

Abstract

En la actualidad, los sistemas de comunicaciones de banda estrecha sobre líneas de potencia (NBPLC) en el rango de frecuencia inferior a 500KHz juegan un papel importante en la construcción de Smart Grid. Sin embargo, el canal PLC es ruidoso y dispersivo en el tiempo y la frecuencia; limitaciones que son necesarias minimizar para habilitarlo como una buena alternativa para dicha aplicación. Se hizo un análisis comparativo de la respuesta del canal PLC a la transmisión de datos de banda estrecha simulado en MatlabÒ con modulación OFDM y procesado Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) y Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT). Como resultado se obtuvo mejor desempeño con la técnica de procesado DWT, mediante el filtrado del ruido, para comunicaciones NB-PLC.
